Recently you may have seen the enormous public support for the ‘fish fight’ campaign, led by celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, which is calling for an end to discard policies and is promoting the sale of the ‘Mackerel bap’ in the UK’s fish & chip shops.
As some oily fish can have a short ‘shelf life’, we have had many customers contacting us to ask if we could provide some frozen fillets which would enable them to offer the Mackerel bap without the concern of wasting fish.
