Smales currently supply approximately 23% of the UK’s fish & chip sector directly, as well as supplying selected inland wholesalers, we are providing a service to over 2,000 fish & chip shops across the UK. This accounts for approximately 12,500 tonnes of fish every year.

We pride ourselves on the reliability of service, and quality of product that we provide every week, which our customers have come to expect from us. Smales are a proud FASFA member, and have been very pleased to supply nine of the last fifteen winners of the coveted ‘Fish & Chip Shop of the Year’ award, and many of the regional area winners.
