Perhaps the most difficult aspect of the Fish Sector (particularly on Frozen At Sea fillets) is knowing what the outlook is in terms of availability and prices. Thankfully our experience and our strong relationships with our suppliers means that we can pass our knowledge on to our customers, so that they are usually one step ahead.
Keep checking back to this section for updates on which vessels are due to land their catches, approximate quantities that will be available, and ultimately where we forecast prices will be heading in the short term future.
Autumn 2008:
From Norway we will have landings/availability of Vartdal and Prestfjord fish before Christmas, also Sundaberg and Skalaberg from the Faroe Islands and Polar Princess from Greenland.
Regarding Icelandic, we expect again to have consistent supplies from our four major vessels, all of which we expect prices to remain stable.
